Po OECD obstaja 5 glavnih vrst la\u017ene in zavajajo\u010de vsebine:<\/p>\n<p>Dezinformacije: Dezinformacije se nana\u0161ajo na preverljivo napa\u010dne ali zavajajo\u010de informacije, ki so zavestno in namenoma ustvarjene in deljene zaradi gospodarske koristi ali namerno zavajanja, manipulacije ali povzro\u010danja \u0161kode osebi, dru\u017ebeni skupini, organizaciji ali dr\u017eavi. La\u017ene novice, globoki ponaredki, in potegav\u0161\u010dine nekatere od oblik dezinformacij.<\/p>\n<p>Napa\u010dne informacije: Napa\u010dne informacije se nana\u0161ajo na napa\u010dne ali zavajajo\u010de informacije, ki se delijo nevede in niso namenjene zavestnemu zavajanju, manipuliranju ali \u0161kodovanju osebi, dru\u017ebeni skupini, organizaciji ali dr\u017eavi. Pomembno je, da raz\u0161irjevalec ni avtor napa\u010dnih informacij, zgolj deli jih.<\/p>\n<p>Propaganda: Propaganda je dejavnost ali vsebina, ki jo raz\u0161irjajo vlade, zasebna podjetja, neprofitne organizacije in posamezniki za volivanje na kolektivne odnose, vrednote in mnenja.
